MADE IN TEXAS RADIO has a long, rich history of bringing Texas artists to fans everywhere.  Our story started in 1990 with Texas radio legend Donna McKenzie, a passionate advocate for local music. Donna created airspace for hardworking Texas artists who lived, worked, and played their talented hearts out – night after night – without record label support. There was SO much great music from Texas that wasn’t being heard on the radio!

Today, MADE IN TEXAS RADIO is a giant megaphone for Texas artists to be heard, discovered and celebrated.  Along the way, we’ve cataloged a one-of-a-kind intimate collection of in-depth interviews, live concert broadcasts and in-studio acoustic performances with Texas-based artists, ranging from new and emerging to some of the biggest names to come from the Lone Star State.

Made In Texas Radio streams live out of Houston to all digital devices via the Tune-In mobile app.  Texas music fans have reported in from over 60 foreign countries.  We truly love what we do here, and at the heart of it all is a passion for celebrating everything we love about Texas Music!
