National voice over talent for the concert industry and, it’s been said the single most recognizable voice in Houston radio. World class interview skills; just ask Willie. Needs her own Food Network Channel. Kind to animals, voice of an angel and born with radio instincts to host, present and speak about music that matters.

Cowboy Dave

On Air
M-F 2pm-6pm
Saturday 6am-Noon

Cowboy Dave is a native Texan, born 40 feet behind the giraffe habitat at the Houston Zoo… literally! Upon leaving the hospital, the first space he ever occupied as a newborn native Texan was the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo… why? According to his father “well… it was on the way home… and I had to pee!”

Graduated from Magnolia High School in 97!

He’s a husband, a father to 2 incredible Lone Star Little one’s… and around 40 critters on the farm in Magnolia, Tx!

Dave has been deep in the Texas music scene since the mid 90’s and has been in Country Radio for more than 20 years. He spent more than 12 years as an award winning morning radio personality on Houston’s 100.3 KILT. 2 time ACM award winner, a CMA award recipient, and was the 2017 Texas CMA Radio Personality of the Year. He and his family are heavily involved in their community and Dave is personally and proudly involved with the Operation Redwing Foundation.

He’s also been featured on 2 episodes of the hit television show ‘The Vet Life’ on Animal Planet.

It’s hard to find him without a guitar and his fishin gear already in his truck!

Keegan Lucas

On Air
M-F 6pm-10pm
Sunday 6am-Noon

To say his Texas roots run deep is an understatement. Grown just south of the Houston area this fifth generation Texan spent his younger days in small town Texas trying to be outside as much as possible fishing and exploring anywhere he could get to. He’s done a lot since then. He saved lives as a lifeguard at Six Flags, he was part of the team that found the captains logbook outside of Chirino, Texas from the Space Shuttle Columbia, part of the Radio Response Team for Hurricane Rita, a body double for John Cena during WrestleMania 50 at Reliant Stadium, and he can tell you how to tell the difference between a male and female alligator! (Hands on experience, it’s an up-close and personal thing but we won’t get into that here.) There’s plenty more from him, but we don’t have time for all that. He hunts, he fishes, he works on cars.

Keegan cut his radio teeth in Nacogdoches and Lufkin then spent some time in Victoria with his own morning show before coming to Houston and becoming part of the team that started ESPN Radio in Houston. While at ESPN Radio Houston he quickly became a one stop solution. He’s shaken hands with the likes of JJ Watt, Troy Aikman, Steve Young, Dunta Robinson, Owen Daniels, Larry the Cable Guy, Tom Green, Mike Ditka, Danieal Manning … we’re gonna stop there, cause that’s a long list too. He’s worked with and run nationally syndicated programs for Steven A. Smith, Scott Van Pelt and Ryan Russillo and a variety of College Bowl Games. When we say this guy can do it all – he absolutely can.

Let’s wrap this up by saying he’s the guy you call when you need something done, doesn’t really matter what it is, he’ll get it taken care of.

Rowdy Yates

On Air
Saturday Noon to 6pm

Rowdy Yates is a second-generation broadcaster, born in Texas and raised in some of the greatest radio stations-ever.
Son of legendary news journalist and frequent Paul Harvey substitute, Joe Holstead, Rowdy’s radio travels have taken
him to garden spots such as Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Houston, Tulsa, and Dallas; with stops in “B-towns” including
Bryan, Bridgeport, and Brady.
He began his career at the age of 15, running the church tapes at Denton’s KDNT, near his hometown of Ft. Worth.
[His Mom had to drive him to work every Sunday morning.]
Yates’ resume reads like a who’s-who of impressive call letters where he has served primarily as air personality, but over the years has applied his talents to web design, social networking, promotions, marketing, programming and operations. KVOO, KSCS, KILT, KLIF, KIKK, Westwood One, Compass Media and others have shared in the benefits of Rowdy’s good work. Making the choice to step away from local radio completely in 2017, Rowdy currently serves as Head of Operations and Content for RFC Media’s “Suite Radio” division, leading their 24/7 syndicated country radio offerings, including The Brand where he is the afternoon host. In addition, Rowdy has been the long-running host of Compass
Media’s The Original Country Gold – a weekend institution that is heard on over 120 radio stations every single weekend.
He’s been the host for 16 years. Rowdy’s work in syndication began with a shot to fill-in for Bob Kingsley and ABC’s
American Country Countdown. He was signed to host network specials exclusively for Westwood One just a few weeks after
that golden opportunity back in 2001.
